COMMUNITY OUTREACH

Agape' MCC is a Congregation that focuses on serving in the greater community.

Samaritan House Supper Club

For many years, our Samaritan House Supper Club has prepared and served dinner to about 60 residents of Samaritan House – a local residential program for persons living HIV+. Our team takes pride in providing home cooked meals with menus that the residents look forward to. We not only serve the residents – but we sit, eat and fellowship with them as part of the family. Our Supper Club meets at Samaritan House on the Second Friday of each month.

Tarrant County AIDS Interfaith Network

We support the clients of TCAIN in a variety of ways throughout the year including back to school supplies for children of the Spanish Women’s Support Group, Christmas for identified TCAIN families in need, supporting the annual World AIDS Day Service and other events through out the year.

Child Protective Service – Foster Parent Program

In 2006 we joined with the Tarrant County CPS system to partner with case managers and support children within the system. We adopted 50 children for Christmas and are the Santa shoppers for their Christmas needs. We are working with case managers for needs for children in the adoption process. We also occasionally host CPS sponsored foster parenting classes.

Agape' Life Pantry

The Life Pantry gathers food and various items for those in need in our community.  People from the community who have fallen on hard times or simply cannot afford basic necessities may come to Agape' MCC and receive help with food and other household items.  Click here to see a copy of suggested items to donate.  (Health Dept. Reg - Expiration dates MUST be on each product and cannot expire earlier than 6 months from the present date.)  For more information, contact us as AgapeLifePantry@gmail.com.
